Klose calls time on his career

The Germany legend, and all-time leading scorer in World Cup finals, has decided to hang up his boots after a long and successful career.
Miroslav Klose has decided to  hang up his boots after leaving Lazio at the end of the 2015-16 campaign following the expiry of his contract.
Klose had been linked with a move to MLS and former club Kaiserslautern over the past few months, but has opted to retire instead and take up a position with Germany's national team.
The former Bayern Munich man would take up an individual training under national team coach Joachim Low and sporting director Hansi Flick with an eye on a future coaching career, while also joining Low's backroom staff.
"I enjoyed my biggest successes with the national team. It was a great time and unforgettable for me. That's why I am happy to return to the DFB," Klose told the DFB website.
"Over the past few months, the idea of staying on the pitch in another position, as a coach, got into my mind. I already enjoyed developing tactics, preparing for games and reading the game during my playing days.
"I am grateful to Jogi Low and Hansi Flick that they are offering me this opportunity."
Klose enjoyed his biggest club successes with Bayern, where he won two Bundesliga titles and two DFB-Pokals. The striker won the Bundesliga top-scorer award in 2005-06.
The German forward has 137 caps and scored 71 goals during that time to become his country's all-time top goalscorer.
He won the World Cup in 2014, having finished as a runner-up in 2002. Klose is also the all-time top scorer at World Cup finals, with 16 strikes spread over four tournaments.

Ronaldo lacks some qualities Messi has.

Diego Forlan believes that Messi is ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo because of his match winning skills.
The Uruguayan believes that Messi still has the power to chnage a game by conjuring moments of individual brilliance whereas his Real Madrid does not.
Forlan who played together with Ronaldo at Machester United says that Ronaldo is now more of finisher in the Real Madrid team and has become less of a complete player the longer he has spent at the Santiago Bernabeu.
“There is one part of his game that I wish he would not have changed,” he wrote in The National.
“When I played with him and in his first years at Real Madrid, he used to go past players for fun, like Messi. Now he is more of a finisher, a killer in front of goal.
“Messi has that too, but he also has the ability to go past two or three players and change a game.”
Ronaldo and Messi are set to lock horns once again over the coming weeks as the battle to be named Ballon d’Or winner intensifies.
Ronaldo is the odds on favourite to win the award after he lifted the Champions League and won the Euro 2016 with portugal.

Mourinho to let Schweinsteiger play?

Former Bayern Munich Midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has returned to train with the Manchester United first team for the  first time since Jose Mourinho's appointment as Manager of Manchester United.
The former German Captain has been banished to the reserves since Mourinho took charge at Old Trafford and has been told to find a new club ever since.
The peak of it was when the club released the squad photo for the 2016/2017 season and Schweinsteiger was nowhere to be found.

The Manchester United fans have in the past called for the player to be given a chance considering the lackluster performance from their team which has seen them lose three matches this season and are already playing catch up as they trail the Premier League Leaders with 8 points.
However, the fans had their wish as Schweinsteiger was spotted in the first team training alongside Rooney and other team mates.
However, it is left to be seen whether this will be enough to convince Mourinho to give him playing time on the pitch.

Manchester United are yet to prove their title credentials this season and they remain 8th position with 13 points from 10 matches.
They take on Fenerbahce in the Europa League before taking on Swansea in the weekend in the Premier League.

Shwweinsteiger is ineligible to play in the Uefa Europa League as he is not in the squad.
